Institute of Macroeconomics
The Institute of Macroeconomics, led by Prof. Dr. Martin Gassebner, is part of the Faculty of Economics and Management. The researchers in the institute work on topics related to Macroeconomics, Economic Growth, Development, Political Economy, Economics of Terrorism and Conflict, International Trade, Economic Integration and Globalization.
Apart from providing fundamental training in macroeconomics, our research interests shape the institute's teaching agenda. In particular, we offer the core Macroeconomics course for the faculty's Bachelor programs. Our course at the undergraduate and graduate level include Economics of Terrorism, Advanced Macroeconomics, and Advanced International Economics.
